Chelsea have completed the signing of Swedish youngster Joseph Colley, according to reports.
The 16-year-old midfielder has been gaining interest from a number of Premier League and top European sides, including Manchester United, whom boss Louis van Gaal has been a keen admirer.
However, it is now confirmed that Chelsea have captured the impressive youngster, who is likened by scouts to Juventus midfielder – Paul Pogba.
Colley will arrive at Stamford Bridge from Brommapojkarna but it is not yet known if he will stay at the club or be loaned out next season.
Dali Savic, the club’s U19 coach told the Express: “I saw his quality from the first training session we had and I knew that he was going to Chelsea.
“I don’t know what plan Chelsea has for him, but I hope and think he is good enough for Chelsea from day one. We have a good relation with Chelsea and the communication between the clubs has been excellent.”
Brommapojkarna were relegated from the Allsvenskan in the 2014 season.
