Chelsea are willing to allow Petr Cech to join another English club with Arsenal and Manchester United set to battle it out for the goalkeeper’s signature.

The Czech Republic stopper spent over a decade as Chelsea‘s number one but the return of Thibaut Courtois from a three-year loan spell has seen his seen resigned to a place on the bench.

Cech has since received interest from a number of European and Premier League clubs, having been available by the Blues for transfer at just £10m.

“He’s working hard to try to be fit,” Blues boss Jose Mourinho said towards the end of the season. “Today is the first session he does with the team. I keep saying I would like him to stay, I have no preferences if he leaves.”

Manchester United and Arsenal are leading with interest, with the latter keen to find a regular number one and it is understood that both clubs are now free to sign the player.
