Liverpool tell winger he will NOT join Man United this summer

Liverpool will not sell Raheem Sterling to Manchester United and have told the winger of their stance, according to Sky Sports.

The Liverpool attacker has expressed a desire to leave Anfield this summer after refusing to enter contract talks and has been linked with a whole host of European sides.

Newly appointed Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez is a huge fan of the young English winger and is desperately trying to force the Spanish club’s officials to make a move.

Sterling has turned down a £90,000 a week offer from Liverpool as he wants to play regular Champions League football and links to a number of Premier League sides who achieved that status this season have been made.

Arsenal and Manchester City have also expressed an interest, but it is reported by the Guardian that Sterling will reject all interested parties and demand a move to Manchester United.
