Manchester United have demanded Real Madrid include Gareth Bale in any deal for keeper David De Gea, according to The Sun.

The English club have been at war with Madrid over their interest in Spanish keeper De Gea since the turn of the year and are doing their utmost to keep hold of the former Atletico Madrid man.

However, reports in both English and Spanish press claim that a pre-contract has been agreed and that the stopper will move back to the Spanish capital for as little as £25m.

Those reports are yet to be confirmed, leading The Sun to claim that United have told Real Madrid to include Gareth Bale in the deal.

That seems unlikely given that Madrid’s valuation of the former Tottenham Hotspur winger is approaching the £80m mark.

A bid for Bale and central defender Raphael Varane was reportedly rejected by Madrid earlier this week.
