Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be keen to add to his attacking options ahead of next season as they plan to challenge for the Premier League title.

And Porto star Jackson Martinez appears a top transfer target after the striker told Colombian newspaper El Espectador last month that he will leave the club following three-years of service.

He said: “I have made it clear that my departure to a new club will surely happen next summer.

“Right now, I only focus on doing my job with Porto, but I’m ready to take the leap in the next window.”

The 28-year-old has also attracted attention from Premier League rivals Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

However, it is now being reported that the striker has agreed a move to Spanish side Valencia.

The Spaniards qualified for the Champions League this season just gone and are looking to push themselves closer to Barcelona and Real Madrid in La Liga.
