David De Gea shuns Man United officials over future decision

David De Gea has ignored calls from Manchester United officials about his future, stating he is in no rush to decide his future after Real Madrid interest.

The Spaniard has become one of the most consistent keepers in the world and pushed Chelsea‘s Eden Hazard for the much coveted Premier League Player of the Year award.

Back-to-back similar awards for his club – Man United have shown what an impact and rise he has had in English football, but links of a return to Spain with Real Madrid have made his future in Manchester become a doubt.

Reports claim that the Spanish international is keen to move back to Madrid with his girlfriend and play for Real, having begun his career with Atletico.

However, following last week’s end of season awards and United’s final game at Old Trafford of the season, which fans showed their appreciation of the keeper – it is understood that he wants time to think about his future.
