Chelsea are facing a fight to keep ‘unhappy’ Diego Costa, after reports emerged he wants a return to Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish international has had a moderately good debut season with Chelsea, helping them win the Premier League title with his goalscoring form.

However, it is reported by Spanish daily Marca that he would like to return to former club Atletico Madrid and link back up with Diego Simeone.

Marca claim Costa has been unable to settle in England and has told his representatives that he would take a pay-cut to move back to La Liga.

The Brazilian born striker is said to be unhappy wit English weather and lifestyle in the country’s capital.

The 26-year-old is now firmly expected to be sold in a double deal with Filipe Luis, whom also joined from Atletico last summer, but also wants to return.
