German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is debating his pre-contract with Manchester United after both Bayern Munich and AC Milan showed interest.

The German international is fully expected to arrive at Old Trafford this summer amidst reports he has signed a pre-contract.

Having struggled in recent seasons with injuries, the midfielder has returned to find his best form for Bundesliga side Bortmund, impressing United and a number of other European sides.

However, despite United’s interest and claimed contract; further reports in German press claim that Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has offered a contract worth just under £6m-per-season and that Italian side AC Milan are also keen.

Guardiola is keen to bring in a number of players this season at Allianz Arena after failing to qualify for the final of the Champions League for a second consecutive season.

That could spell good news for United, however, who have been interested in signing Bastian Schweinsteiger this season.

The World Cup winner has cited a desire to move on and try his luck abroad before he ages.
