Newly-promoted Bournemouth want Chelsea‘s Christian Atsu on loan, according to Daily Mail.
Atsu, 23, who spent the last campaign on loan at Everton, is now closing in on a move to newly promoted Bournemouth.
Eddie Howe’s side are looking to improve their attacking options and build on their recent successes and believe that Atsu will provide an extra talent.
The Ghanaian moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto in 2013, signing a five year deal but was immediately loaned to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
He made 26 appearances for the Eredivisie outfit, before moving to Everton on loan last season.
Atsu recently thanked Everton fans for his loan spell, saying: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Everton for making me feel welcome during my time there this season.
“The fans, the staff, my team-mates have all been very supportive. I’m sorry that things didn’t work out for me but I must look forward and am keen to take the next step in my football career. God bless everyone.”
