Man United and Liverpool enter race for Slovenian keeper

Inter Milan expect goalkeeper Samir Handanovic to depart the Serie A side this summer, seeing both Manchester United and Liverpool show interest.

The Italian side are locked in contract talks with Handanovic over his future at the club as the Slovenian stopper enters the final year in his current contract.

Negotiations have hit somewhat of a standstill with links to the Premier League, Paris Saint Germain and Spain present in media.

Whilst, Sky Sport Italia have been reporting that AS Roma are keen to make a summer move.

However, Man United and Liverpool have emerged as favourites as the former look to replace David De Gea, who looks set to join Real Madrid and the latter want to sign a new number one.

Handanovic is keen to play Champions League football next season and will see United or Roma as the best possibility, however, Inter are still doing all they can to secure his services for one more year, at least.
