Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have taken note after Marca reported that Cristiano Ronaldo has become unhappy at Real Madrid.

Last season was arguably Cristiano Ronaldo’s best in a Real Madrid shirt, if not, in his career, having helped the Spanish side win their 10th European title and win the Ballon d’Or, eclipsing Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

However, this season has seen Carlo Ancelotti’s side falter and fail to win a single title, losing in the Champions League semi-final to Juventus, being knocked out of the La Copa and losing the league title to their bitter rivals – Barcelona.

Having struggled for goals at the start of 2015, Ronaldo has still scored and performed, leading the current Pichichi standings in La Liga, but rumours of his unhappiness at the club have now started to be heard.

Linked with a return to England in the past, where he spent several successful years with Man United, the Portuguese forward could be set for a summer move to either Chelsea or Man City.

Both clubs have shown interest in the past and Marca’s report will no doubt cause them to enquire about his situation.

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain are also keen.
