Watford are planning a move for 27-year-old Montpellier winger Anthony Mounier, who has 1 year remaining on his contract for the French club.
Mounier, who has previously played for French sides Lyon and Nice has had an impressive season for Montpellier, scoring nine times and providing seven assists in 37 appearances this season.
Mounier has said that he would like to move away from the French league and try a new challenge, with the premier league and Bundesliga being top of his list.
The winger scored in Montpelliers weekend game against Paris-Saint Germain in a 2-1 defeat which crowned PSG as champions of Ligue 1 for the 3rd year running.
