Southampton have set a £25m asking price on Morgan Schneiderlin, according to Goal.com.

Both Arsenal and Spurs have been heavily interested in the French midfielder but have been told in recent weeks by the Saints that they will not accept anything less than his set asking price.

The Saints have been firm in keeping the midfielder after seeing a number of key players leave the club last summer.

The club are adamant that the 25-year-old will not leave for less than £25m, leaving Arsenal and Spurs to re-think their interest.

It is understood that the former are willing to spend up to £20m, but Spurs are unwilling to go higher than £15m, which they feel is a fair valuation of the midfielder.
