Man United offer David de Gea final BUMPER contract

Manchester United will offer David De Gea a new four-year deal worth up to £250,000 a week, according to The Sun.

De Gea has been United’s stand out player this season and pushed Chelsea‘s Eden Hazard for the Premier League Player of the Year award.

Links to Madrid have been ever present for the most part of the season with the former Atletico keeper tipped to replace Iker Casillas, who looks set to leave Santiago Bernabeu.

A deal worth £3.6m per season is said to have been agreed, according to various reports in England and Spain, with a fee of £29.1m set to be negotiated between United and the reigning European champions.

But it is now being reported that United have offered the Spaniard one final contract offer which would see him earn a quarter-of-a-million pounds each week.

That would make De Gea one of the highest paid footballers in the world and certainly the highest paid keeper.
