Paris Saint Germain forward Edinson Cavani is closing in on a summer move to Atletico Madrid, according to TF1.
The Uruguayan striker has been in red hot form this season in Ligue 1 but his relationship with Laurent Blanc and a number of team-mates at Parc des Princes has somewhat deteriorated in recent weeks.
A whole host have since followed with interest, including Premier League sides such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United.
The latter have been extremely interested and had become buoyed that the French club were keen to allow him to leave.
However, Spanish side Atletico Madrid have jumped the queue and are now set to seal a deal in the coming weeks.
Cavani could be a direct replacement for Mario Mandzukic, who has been tipped to leave the Vicente Calderon this summer.
