Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli has said that he is not surprised by Manchester United’s interest in Harry Kane.

The England international has been in superb form this season, scoring over 30 goals for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in all competitions.

Links with a move away from White Hart Lane have been reported, whilst Real Madrid have also identified the striker as a potential summer signing.

Man United are extremely keen as boss Louis van Gaal prepares to build a side worthy and capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

Reports have claimed that a £45m deal could be agreed between the two sides, a fee that would compensate Kane’s sale at Spurs and allow Pochettino to a move for a number of striker options this season.

“I’m not surprised because he’s a big talent,” said Chadli of United’s rumoured interest.

“He’s scored 30 goals or more this season so he’s proved himself in the Premier League and at international level, so it’s normal that big clubs want to get him.

“He’s still young, Harry, and I think it’s not a decision for me to take. He’s an adult and he’s big enough to take his decisions. He still has a long contract with Spurs so we’ll see [what happens].”
