Alexandre Lacazette has turned down the chance to extend his contract at the club, prompting speculation of a move to the Premier League.

French media L’Equipe report that striker Lacazette has turned down an offer to remain with the Ligue 1 side and that has prompted the likes of Liverpool, Man United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea to show interest.

The French international has been in superb form this season, having scored 31 goals in 33 games in all competitions.

The 23-year-old has been under negotiations over a new deal with Lyon since the turn of the year, but following his Player of the Year award on Sunday, he has admitted that he could move elsewhere this summer.

“I do not know,” he said when asked if he would be at the club next season.

“That is a question that will be asked at the end of the season.

“I am very proud, it is a boyhood dream come true to win the trophy for the best player.”

The report goes on to say that whilst Lyon are still trying to convince the striker to remain in Ligue 1, the likes of Liverpool are making those chances seem unlikely.
