Manchester United keeper David De Gea has agreed a deal with Real Madrid, according to Marca.

The Spanish media are reporting that there has been further development in the Spanish starlet’s reported move to Real Madrid.

Last month, journalist Josep Pedrerol appeared on television channel La Sexta and claimed a deal in principle between the player and club has already been agreed and that has been followed by Marca’s release of the story that the Spanish keeper penned a deal in principle when visiting his family last week.

De Gea has been United’s stand out player this season and pushed Chelsea’s Eden Hazard for the Premier League Player of the Year award.

Links to Madrid have been ever present for the most part of the season with the former Atletico keeper tipped to replace Iker Casillas.

A deal worth £3.6m per season is said to have been agreed with a fee of £29.1m set to be negotiated between United and the reigning European champions.

Sky Sports News have claimed that the reports are false with one of their reporters saying:

“The situation is clear that Manchester United do not want to entertain David de Gea leaving Old Trafford. He has 18 months left on his contract and is one of nine up next summer.

“They’ve made an offer to keep him at United. One thing that isn’t happening at the moment is negotiations with another club.”
