Manchester United are desperate to land Gareth Bale this summer and are preparing to sell both Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie.
The sales of Di Maria and Van Persie will save United a whopping £500,000-per-week next season and they plan to use that funding to make an £80m bid for Madrid winger Bale.
Bales has had a frustrating year with the Spanish giants and has struggled to replicate the form that made him one of the most consistent players in the world at Tottenham Hotspur two seasons back.
A summer move is expected with the club’s fans attacking him verbally throughout the season, whilst team-mates like Cristiano Ronaldo and co have also been forward in their critique of the Welsh international.
Di Maria is highly expected to leave with Paris Saint Germain keen, whilst Fenerbahce have shown an interest in Robin van Persie, another, who has struggled this season.
