Arsenal’s last ditch move for Dybala snubbed as Juve deal is close

Palermo striker Paulo Dybala is set to snub a move to Arsenal and sign for Juventus in a £23m deal.

Dybala, who was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, has opted to stay in the Serie A and sign for the Italian champions Juve.

According to the Daily Mail, the fee is believed to be in excess of £30m and he will sign a five-year deal at the Juventus Stadium. The Italian giants are expected to make an officialannouncement soon.

The 21-year-old Argentine has been a big hit at Palermo this season – making 30 Serie A appearances and netting 13 goals.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini claimed last week that the striker would not play again for the club, following his desire for a big-money move in the summer.

That news opened the door for the Old Lady to come in and secure his services. Zamparini had been keen to generate interest from England to force up the price, but Dybala has opted to stay in Italy.
