West Brom look to swoop Aston Villa target

West Brom have been reported to be looking to hijack Aston Villa’s move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair with a £2.5m transfer bid, according to the Mirror.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis is looking to add pace to his squad ahead of next season, and Sinclair has emerged as a possible target, according to reports.

The 26-year-old is currently spending his time on-loan at Aston Villa, and with one-year left on his City contract, the Villans look to make the loan move a permanent one.

Villa were expected to complete the transfer, however West Brom have now emerged as competitors to land the winger due to Jack Grealish’s emergence in the Villan’s team.

Tony Pulis’ Baggies side are currently thirteenth in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 41 points, three points ahead of Aston Villa in fourteenth.
