Italian side continue Man City striker pursuit

Italian side Inter Milan are still keen on making a summer move for Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic, according to Tuttosport.

The Serbian striker has struggled to make an impact during his first season in England, having made just 13 Premier League starts, in which he has scored three goals.

The likes of Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko have kept the former Fiorentina man on the bench, whilst a number of niggling injury problems have also halted his progression at the Etihad stadium.

And, that has led a number of Italian clubs to show interest with Inter Milan being favourites to make a summer move for the 24-year-old.

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is reportedly keen to improve his attacking options after seeing the likes of Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi struggle to provide goals last season.

Jovetic joined City from Fiorentina last summer in a transfer deal worth £22m and it is expected that the English club will demand somewhere near that figure.
