Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc, has confirmed the German club have received no offers for their midfield ace Ilkay Gundogan.
The German international, who has attracted huge interest from Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich – among others, has yet to receive any offers for his services, according to Zorc.
The club’s sporting director said;
“We have already finished talking with the player and as he did not want to extend his relationship with us, we have thought that he could leave this summer, although it will depend on the offers that reach the club,” Zorc is quoted as saying on Todomercadoweb.
“At the moment, none have arrived.”
Gundogan has made a total of 110 appearances for Dortmund during a four-year senior career at the Signal Iduna Park. The Bundesliga may have been a struggle for the Black and Yellows this term, but the 24-year-old has been a shining light.
