Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa, has dropped a huge hint on where his future lies.
The 25-year-old is a free agent in the summer, and Roberto Martinez’s Everton are said to be keen on his signature. However, Cleverley, who has enjoyed a very successful spell at Villa Park this season, has reportedly said he is happy to stay in the Midlands.
The England international said; “I don’t think any Premier League players are going to be short of a quid or two. You have just got to be happy first of all,” he said.
“And I am at this club, so let’s see where we go from there. I think first and foremost you have to be playing at a club where you fit in.”
Cleverley has netted three goals in his last three games for Tim Sherwood’s side, as they battle to keep their Premier League status intact.
