Arsenal have been given the all-clear to sign Layvin Kurzawa after the Monaco left-back handed in a transfer request, Le 10 Sport claims.

The Gunners are keen to add full-back Kurzawa to their defensive options for next season and have been given the all-clear to make a summer move.

The 22-year-old has made 34 appearances for the Ligue 1 this season and has impressed a number of watching European sides.

Monaco have been hit with a ban from UEFA recently on the number of players they can register next season and the defensive ace is expected to be moved on and sold.

And, Arsenal’s hopes have now been helped by the fact that the defender has handed in a transfer request.
