Hull City and Tottenham are closely monitoring Claudio Beauvue after the Guingamp forward announced he wants to leave the French outfit this summer, according to The Mail.

The 27-year-old striker has bagged 25 goals this season in Ligue 1 and wants to build on his success by making the move to England, where he plans to perform in the Premier League.

Speaking last week, Guingamp president Bertrand Desplat affirmed his striker’s future ambitions and seemed to indicate that a move was almost done.

Both Spurs and Hull City have been linked to the talented goalscorer, whilst Aston Villa and West Ham have also been in attendance this season.

“It seems that this is the will of Claudio – to go to England,” Desplat said.

Meanwhile, Beauvue himself said that an agreement with an English club was all-but sealed.

“The deal I had with the club president was that I would leave in the event of a beautiful season.

“The season has been very beautiful.”
