Tottenham are the latest Premier League club interested in Celtic’s 23-year-old defender Virgil van Dijk, according to Daily Express.

The 23-year-old Dutchman has been strongly linked with a move to a number of Premier League sides after impressing both in the Scottish Premier League and the Europa League for Celtic.

Southampton and Arsenal have all been linked in recent weeks, but it is understood that Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to make a summer move after sending scouts to watch the versatile defender in action.

It is being reported by a number of Scottish press outlets that the Spurs will submit a £10m bid, which they believe will tempt Celtic in to parting ways with the former Groningen defender.

Van Dijk moved to Scotland in 2013 and has since helped Celtic to back-t0-back Scottish Premier League titles.

He is yet to be capped by the Dutch national side, but has featured three appearances for the U21 side.
