Manchester City ready to break the bank for Juventus star

Manuel Pellegrini is lining up a whopping £70m bid to bring Juventus’ midfield ace Paul Pogba to Manchester City, reports the Daily Star.

The news outlet are also reporting that City could sell star players Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri, Aleksandr Kolarov and Edin Dzeko to fund the pricey deal.

The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian giants – with Manchester City, Cheslea, Real Madrid , Barcelona and PSG all interested in the 22-year-old’s services.

Pogba, who started his senior career at Manchester United in 2011, has turned himself into one of the world’s best midfielders seemingly overnight. He’s gone on to be a vital cog in the Juventus midfield machine, and the Italian club will be doing everything they possible can to persuade him to stay.

Pogba has already racked up 22 appearances for the French national team, and he was voted FIFA World Cup Best Young Player in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
