Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will attempt a move for Alexandre Lacazette this summer after he has signed a new deal with the club.

The French striker has scored 27 goals in Ligue 1 this season and has attracted the likes of many on-looking European sides, who have all enquired as to his current asking price, reportedly set at around £20m.

Liverpool and Newcastle have led interest, whilst a lucrative move to Qatar has also been mentioned in the French press.

However, any such interest seems to have now been matched by Premier League winners Chelsea.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to freshen up his striking options and believes that swapping Lacazette for fellow Frenchman Remy is the perfect change this summer.

Remy has featured frequently for Chelsea this summer but wants to end his career in his home country.
