Manchester United will sign Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal if David De Gea extend his current deal at Old Trafford.

Spanish keeper De Gea has been locked in contract talks with United officials since the turn of the year after interest from Real Madrid.

Whilst, some reports last week in Spanish press claimed that the keeper had agreed a deal to sign for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, further conflicting reports state that he will pen a new and improved £200,000-per-week deal with United.

That seems to be dependant on the situation surrounding Falcao though, who is currently on loan with United from Ligue 1 side Monaco.

A buying option is in place but the Colombian striker has failed to impress, however, agent Jorge Mendes, who represents both Falcao and De Gea is pushing United to sign both players to exclusive deals before the summer transfer window.
