Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo could be set for a summer move to Chelsea after revealing his desire to move away from Serie A.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of the Italian midfielder, but has failed to work with the 35-year-old during his managerial career.
Pirlo, who has guided Juventus to four consecutive Serie A titles now looks set to leave the Turin side this summer and pursue a final swansong abroad.
“Ending my Juventus story by pocketing the Champions League would be a dream come true,” he told Spanish daily AS.
“But I won’t stop playing, I’ll go on as long as I have the same great desire to keep training every day.
“But I wouldn’t go to another Italian team. Juventus will be my last Serie A team, whatever happens.
“MLS could be an idea but for the moment, I don’t have anything, Juve are the only thing on my mind.”
