Wolves’ attacking midfielder Bakary Sako is attracting interest from Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion as well as another midlands rival Aston Villa.

The Mali international, who is out of contract in the summer, is expected to make the move away from Molineux after a very successful three-year stay at the club.

Sako told the club’s official website; “I have been pleased with my season but I was really sad too because I don’t know what I’m going to do during the summer.”

“I have some offers from the Premier League and some from abroad, but I want to play in the Premier League.”

Sako scored 15 goals in 41 appearances for Wolves this season, as Kenny Jacket’s side narrowly missed out on the play-offs – ending a very impressive first season back in the Championship in seventh place. Wolves finished level on points with Brentford and Ipswich Town, but missed out on the play-offs on goal difference.
