Arsenal are ready to submit a concrete bid for Chelsea’s four-time Premier League title winner, Petr Cech.

The Czech Republic international is known to be disgruntled at sitting on the bench behind Thibaut Courtois, who has established himself as Jose Mourinho’s number one after three successful season loans to Atletico Madrid.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs including Inter Milan, Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain, of whom the latter are believed to have already agreed a deal.

Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins made comments to beIN Sport after PSG were beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League last month, claiming a deal had already been agreed between Chelsea and the Ligue 1 champions.

However, those reports now seem to have been proven false with Arsenal ready to pounce on the four-time Premier League title winner and tempt him in a move across London.

Blues boss Mourinho is said to be against letting the stopper move to their Premier League rivals, but Arsenal believe first team football and the chance to remain in England’s capital city will see him join the Gunners.
