Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out making a summer move for a new goalkeeper, reports Sky Sports.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with Chelsea’s out-of-favour stopper Petr Cech – but Wenger has dismissed any rumours that he is in the market for a new ‘keeper.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference today, Wenger said Arsenal already have the best goalkeeper in the Premier League “if you look at the numbers”.

The Frenchman was referring to David Ospina, who signed from Nice in the summer for the small sum of £3m. Ospina has been a real rock in the Arsenal goal, since taking over as No. 1 from Wojciech Szczesny in January. Wenger believes he has two world-class goalkeepers at his disposal, without the need of dipping into the market for a new one.

Arsenal travel to the KC Stadium on Monday night to face a Hull City side fighting for their Premier League status.
