Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is looking likely to quit in the summer.

The 34-year-old has now made 23 appearances for Arsenal this term but hasn’t been selected since the 2-1 victory over Newcastle last month.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is confident the midfielder will stay at the Emirates, but it is possible the Czech Republic international could move on.

It has been suggested that Rosicky has attracted attention from former club Sparta Prague and is also looking at his options of playing in the United States.

The player has also endured a number of injuries this term and has not been a regular feature on Wenger’s team-sheet.

Sparta Prague spokesman Ondrej Kasik said: “The comeback of Tomas Rosicky is always an interesting issue at Sparta. Everything depends on Tomas himself.”

Rosicky’s agent Pavel Paska added: “Everything is in progress and we cannot say anything in the moment.”

Arsenal are currently third in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 67 points, two points ahead of Manchester United in fourth.
