Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be planning a squad overhaul in the upcoming summer transfer window with the sales of Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado, according to the Daily Mirror.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bolster his squad ahead of next season and the club are reported to be considering selling Erik Lamela and Roberto Soldado, despite the players only being with the club for two years.

The duo were part of the huge spend that Spurs underwent with the cash received from Gareth Bale’s record sale to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

But the players haven’t played to expectation and Pochettino is suggested to be ready to cut his losses to allow him to bring fresh talent to the club and fight for the top four spot in the Premier League next season.

Tottenham Hotspur are currently sixth in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 58 points, one point ahead of Southampton in sixth.
