Manchester United have been reported to have to pay £30m if they want to complete the transfer of Aston Villa star Christian Benteke.
Manchester United are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season and Benteke has been identified as a possible target.
Villa will be hoping to keep hold of the 24-year-old, and have attempted to fend off interest by placing the huge price tag on the striker.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is known to be an admirer of the Belgium international but it remains to be seen if he chooses to pursue a deal at that price.
