Everton have been handed a boost to sign Guingamp forward Claudio Beauvue after the player commented on being keen on a move to the Premier League, according to L’equipe.

Everton will be looking to bolster their attacking options in the summer following a disappointing second season under boss Roberto Martinez.

The forward has netted 14 goals this term and has an agreement with the Ligue 1 side that he can depart at the end of the season according to reports.

Martinez will be on red alert over the news and is likely to push forward a bid to land the strikers signature in the summer.

Everton are currently tenth in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 44 points, tied with West Ham in eleventh.
