Arsenal legend Thierry Henry spoke out after the Gunners’ 0-0 home draw with Champions elect Chelsea on Sunday.
The Frenchman said Arsene Wenger needs another four top-quality players to stand any chance of winning the Premier League title.
The Gunners huffed and puffed against Chelsea on Sunday, but Jose Mourinho’s team put in a defensive masterclass to frustrate Arsenal and all but win the title.
“Arsenal need to buy four players, they need that spine,” Henry told Super Sunday.
“The best example for me today was Chelsea. They struggled last year and they were still competing to win the league. They now have [Thibaut] Courtois, [Nemanja] Matic, Cesc [Fabregas] and Diego Costa.”
The former Arsenal striker hit an incredible 174 Premier League goals during his time in north London, and won the Premier League title twice.
