Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that Chelsea will now be champions after his side failed to beat them on Sunday afternoon.
Many involved in the English game felt that a win for Arsenal on Sunday against Premier League leaders Chelsea would keep the title race open for at least another week, however, the Gunners failed to break down Jose Mourinho’s side.
And, boss Wenger has labelled his side’s failure as a big one, saying that Chelsea will now be crowned champions.
“We know Chelsea will be champions,” he told Sky Sports News. “A win for us today was absolutely necessary, so it’s impossible for Chelsea to lose it now.
“Chelsea are a good side because they defend very well. In the recent games they haven’t conceded and today they defended very well.”
