Manchester United have offered keeper David de Gea a whopping £200,000-per-week contract to stay at the club.

The Red Devils are heavily concerned that they could lose the Spaniard after months and months of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

De Gea is wanted to replace Iker Casillas at the Santiago Bernabeu next season and reports last week had claimed that the former Atletico keeper had agreed a deal in principle.

The 24-year-old has remained fairly silent over his future, however, some fans took to Twitter and Facebook on Sunday afternoon, saying he looked jaded as United lost 3-0 to Everton at Goodison Park.

Nevertheless, United’s new contract offer is expected to have the Spanish international thinking more in depth about his future.

De Gea, if signs a new and improved deal at United, would close in on Manuel Neuer of Bayern Munich, who is thought to be the highest paid keeper in world football.
