Manchester United target Memphis Depay has held talks with Liverpool, according to reports.
Depay has had strong links with United for weeks, with Red Devil boss Louis van Gaal said to have made the player a top transfer priority.
PSV have now confirmed the talk that was reported over the weekend, and further reports were confirmed that the Dutchman was in England at Old Trafford to undergo talks over a summer move.
However, despite United’s delight at making moves to sign the talented youngster, confirmation that Depay also travelled to Liverpool after his visit to Manchester have put doubt in a summer deal.
The 21-year-old is currently valued at £25m by Dutch side PSV, a figure that both United and Brendan Rodgers’ side are happy to pay out.
