Paris Saint Germain are back in the race to sign Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, according to L’Equipe.

The Czech Republic international is known to be disgruntled at sitting on the bench behind Thibaut Courtois, who has established himself as Jose Mourinho’s number one after three successful season loans to Atletico Madrid.

And, it is understood that the French side are keen for him to replace Salvatore Sirigu next season.

The 32-year-old has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs including Arsenal and Inter Milan, but PSG are ready to beat their rivals and make the Blues stopper their number one for next season.

Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins made comments to beIN Sport after PSG were beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League two weeks ago, claiming a deal had already been agreed between Chelsea and the Ligue 1 champions.
