West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has said that Chelsea are yet to submit a bid for Aaron Cresswell.
The talented full-back joined the Hammers from Ipswich Town in July and has impressed during his debut season in the Premier League.
His impressive form has led to a number of links to Champions League chasing Prem sides with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho keen to sign the youngster as back up to Cesar Azpilicueta.
However, Allardyce remained certain that no club had made a solid offer.
“As far as I’m concerned, nobody has bid for Aaron Cresswell so it’s pure rumours that has to fill the media space,” he told reporters.
“It’s for me to make sure that Aaron continues to do what he has done all season, which is perform on a consistent basis.
“He has to continue to work as hard as he can, not rest on his laurels and build on the impressive year he’s had.”
