Spanish media have reported that there has been further developments in the Spanish starlet’s reported move to Real Madrid earlier this week by claiming that a deal had been agreed in principle.

On Friday, journalist Josep Pedrerol appeared on television channel La Sexta and claimed a deal in principle between the player and club has already been agreed.

Pedrerol stated, ‘David De Gea is clear…he wants to be the Real Madrid goalkeeper.’ It was also claimed that De Gea has fallen out with Louis van Gaal, which has added to his desire to leave Old Trafford.

And, it is now understood that officials from the Madrid club arrived in Manchester on Tuesday morning to discuss the idea of a summer move.

De Gea is yet to sign a new deal with Man United, despite negotiations that stem back to December.
