Chelsea face a battle to sign Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli, according to various reports.
Chelsea will be looking to replace out-going Petr Cech when he makes his exit from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho made an appearance at Fulham’s 1-1 draw over Rotherham on Wednesday night to keep tabs on the 22-year-old, according to The Telegraph.
The under-21 England international first made his appearance for Fulham last August, and currently has one-year left on his contract.
As a result of this, Mourinho had seemed confident of signing the youngster, but it is now understood that Fulham have offered the stopper a new contract.
Chelsea are currently top of the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 76 points, ten points ahead of Arsenal in second.
