Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Espanyol star Hector Moreno with the centre-back likely to accept a move.
Arsenal have been monitoring Moreno for months and had strong links with a deal in January.
But now a summer deal is reported to be lined up, with the defender also attracting attention from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, but reports in Spain say the 27-year-old has his eyes on an Arsenal move this summer.
The Mexico international is rated at £15m and will reportedly ‘do anything’ to help negotiations as the Gunners is his number one choice.
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side are currently second in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated 66 points, one point ahead of Manchester United in third.
