Inter Milan are planning a summer swoop for Liverpool keeper target Neto, who is set to leave Serie A club Fiorentina.

Corriere dello Sport report that Inter boss Roberto Mancini has made tentative enquiries as to the availability of Neto and the possibility of him swapping Fiorentina with Inter Milan.

Liverpool have been extremely keen as boss Brendan Rodgers looks to replace Simon Mignolet, who has been fairly inconsistent this season.

However, despite their interest in Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, the Merseyside club have informed their Premier League counter-parts that they do have alternatives, one of them being Brazilian keeper Neto.

Neto will see his contract expire next summer and he is reportedly looking to leave Serie A and find a bigger club.

And, it is understood that boss Inter have made contact.
