Juventus are planning to make a £55m move for Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani, if Carlos Tevez leaves the club.

United have put Cavani at the top of their transfer list ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, and it has been reported that talks over a deal have already begun.

The Red Devils are suggested to be lining up an offer worth £55m to sign the striker, and reports show that United have been handed a boost to sign the 28-year-old as PSG are to sell to the highest bidder.

The South American has also attracted attention from Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool, but it is Juventus who are also in the running.

The Italian side are hopeful they can lure Cavani back to the Serie A and replace Carlos Tevez, who is set to call time on his career at the Juventus stadium.
