Atletico Madrid are to begin talks with Palermo over the summer signing of forward Paulo Dybala, according to AS.

Dybala is keen to make a summer move after falling out with Palermo chief Maurizio Zamperini, who has publicly discussed his asking price and availability.

A whole host of European sides have been interested, with Paris Saint Germain, Juventus and Barcelona all keeping a close eye on the Argentine youngster.

Premier League side Arsenal have also maintained their interest and held talks with the forward, dubbed the ‘next Sergio Aguero’ in January.

Talks have not materialised though, and Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is keen to take advantage of others failings to negotiate a deal.

Simeone believes he can tempt the youngster to move to the Spanish capital and develop into a similar sort of player as Aguero, who spent time at Atleti.
